Note: here you will solely find our news. Many organizations and institutions are already involved reporting and are far more experienced and much better at doing the job. The last thing anyone needs is for us to start another news channel.

about All4Freedom

We stand for the freedom to be yourself, even if that means you are different. Our organisation is a little different and may not fit the mold. This is exactly why, like the other more conventional causes out there, we too have every right to be out there. Officially, on paper, we’re a foundation—an NGO, a nonprofit. But that’s just legal jargon and administrative formality. What truly matters is stepping beyond the statutes and paperwork. In reality, we’re a movement. Not bound by bureaucracy, but driven by purpose—bringing people together, both online and face to face.

ALL4FREEDOM is a passionate community born and launched in Amsterdam, the city of freedom and a safe haven for centuries. 

Our fast-growing movement stands for one mission: your right to be yourself. Inspire, motivate and empower others and help shape a community for all who dare to be different.

FREEDOM?
Freedom? A broad concept, right? And what does it mean?
Well, according to the Oxford living dictionary, Freedom means:

" 1. The power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants.‘we do have some freedom of choice’
2. The state of not being imprisoned or enslaved. "

Freedom, hmmm... how free are we to all have our own opinion on freedom and what freedom means for us. Freedom could be sitting on your yacht with champagne, dancing to techno music or waking up next to a different one-night stand every week.
Freedom could be not being bullied around by schoolmates, not living under the domination of a despotic government, Dancing as a drag at a techno music festival or simply living in a free city like Amsterdam...

However, we will just trim things down to distinguishing and explaining what freedom variations, we identify at ALL4FREEDOM.
FREEDOM - WE DO?

We will focus on freedom of Community, Expression, Speech, Identity, Clothing, Music and Art, Dance, Assembly, Forums and Polls, from Discrimination; freedom to Demonstrate and Campaign; and, of course, the freedom to be yourself!

These freedoms are essential—lacking these freedoms, much less creating an impact. 
Our IAM4FREEDOM platform and other 4FREEDOM projects are dedicated to promoting the following:

FREEDOM - WE DON'T DO?

We no longer focus on the freedom of Press, Religion, Education, Movement, Internet Access, Marriage, Language, Literature; freedom from Political Oppression, Torture, Forced Labor, Extradition; freedom to Work, Own Property, Trade, Vote, Run for Office and to a Fair Trial, or whatever freedoms are not mentioned here or above. 

Many organizations and institutions (Reporters Without Borders, Bits of Freedom, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Freedom House, etc.) are already involved in these fields— and are far more experienced and much better at doing the job. The last thing anyone needs is more fragmentation.

WHAT DOES FREEDOM MEAN FOR YOU?

One thing about freedom is that everyone is free to have their own definition of what freedom means for them. We would like to know what you think and if, at some point, we add it all, we will have a pretty nice average of what freedom means for our audience.

I am Jody and IAM4FREEDOM! I've never felt more free than I'm feeling right now. To get so much love and positive feedback for just being yourself is kind of crazy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I would recommend it to anyone. I am a transgender girl and I am very proud of that. In this world it's not easy to be different, especially when it isn't a choice to be different but it's just how you're born. This is who I am and I've learned to be proud of myself. IAM4FREEDOM!

Freedom is not having to live according to the standard.. That it’s ok to step outside the lines. Or stay within if I want to. Freedom is dressing up sexy when I feel like it. Without disapproving or dirty looks from others. Freedom for me is the right to choose what I do, where, when and with whom and that others have that exact same right. Freedom is being respected. And giving back even if it’s not necessarily my savoir vivre. Freedom is living in a society free of religious dogma’s and imposed religious laws. Freedom is stepping under a waterfall when you see one. IAM4FREEDOM!

I am Marjolein and IAM4FREEDOM! To me freedom means that you can live your own life. You make your own decisions and choices and no one can control your life for you. No one makes your decisions for you. Every moment and every single day. But it also means that you have to live with the consequences of the choices that you make, whether they are good or bad. Yes, I can live my own life and make my own choices. I can raise my kids the way I want to, and surround myself with people who I love. It means I can live where I want to and do the work I like to do. I do not have to ask anyone for permission to do these things. Because of all these freedoms, I'm grateful to live and be able to live my own life the way I want, as happy as I can. Sometimes we take freedom for granted and don't think of all the little things that we get to enjoy because we are free. When you stop and think about how different life would be without it, it makes you very thankful to live here and enjoy the promise of freedom. IAM4FREEDOM!

At ALL4FREEDOM, we believe in the power of community built to connect and unite rather than divide and the impact it can have—that’s why we created the PROJECTS4FREEDOM: unique, people-powered initiatives that offer opportunities for collective participation and express our shared support for the freedom to be yourself. Thanks to your continued support, these projects are slowly coming alive.

In previous POLLS4FREEDOM, you voiced a clear desire to see our successful projects continued—and you brought many new ideas to the table. Under the joint denominator PROJECTS4FREEDOM, we will proudly present a growing portfolio of meaningful, freedom-driven initiatives. Each project empowers connection, expression, and action, and serves as a building block in our movement. Among them, IAM4FREEDOM and CROWDFUND4FREEDOM are currently the most essential.   • WHY 4FREEDOM PROJECTS?

Together with our IAM4FREEDOM Heroes, we’re actively working on new and not-yet-live initiatives—some of which are already listed below. As we grow and collaborate with our community, more PROJECTS4FREEDOM will follow. Feel free to explore: nearly every project includes its own community hub—a Facebook-like group—where you can stay updated, connect with like-minded people, share ideas, and attend events.

On one hand, new outer-freedom and audience-specific projects respond to pressing issues in today’s world—such as INTERNET4FREEDOM, GLBT4FREEDOM, and KIDS4FREEDOM—which aim to succeed on a short-term and local level. On the other hand, successful outer-freedom projects from our Project Aware period—like DANCE4FREEDOM, PHOTO4FREEDOM, and ART4FREEDOM—are being continued and further developed.

Whether raising awareness or encouraging participation, all 4FREEDOM projects reinforce our core cause. They contribute to one another, cross-promote, and create ripples of impact. At their heart, each project strengthens both outer freedom (freedom from fear, exclusion, or harassment) and inner freedom (freedom to be yourself), recognizing that both are deeply interconnected and necessary.

Together, through creative expression, participation, and solidarity, we can shape a world where freedom and belonging truly coexist.
