| ART4FREEDOM meaning: |
My ART4FREEDOM is about the freedom my daughter lost when she was very ill for a month. When she started to feel better, the pandemic situation forced us to remain locked-up at home for more than two months. Fortunately, we have a big windows in our dinning room and, everyday, we could see the birds fly free.
So, I promised her that, soon, when all this is over, she too would be free, like the birds she saw flying. To remind her of my promise, I decided to paint her this portrait. The artwork gives her hope, she will not be oppressed for always. She will regain her long-awaited freedom and from there on grow up in a free world, where her generation makes sure that they are never again oppressed. IAM4FREEDOM! |
