| ART4FREEDOM meaning: |
My ART4FREEDOM is about how freedom was lost for all those in Birkenau Auschwitz concentration camp.
Firstly, although the name IAM4FREEDOM Hero suggests, I’m not a hero. I’m just a man searching the truth, doing what's right and fighting for freedom. Day and night, we should always keep searching for freedom and truth, wherever it is needed around the world. Freedom is a not choice, it is a right! I made this scene for Anne Frank’s birthday (June12, 1929). Because she is just another one of the many innocent victims and such memories, have affected me so much. I felt their lack of freedom, their pain, darkness, desperation, loneliness… They were just like us and just wanted to be themselves. Everyday we wake-up under the same sun. Whatever colours we are, we are all the same, longing to be free. IAM4FREEDOM! |
