My ART4FREEDOM was born during the first lockdown in my country, in Italy, in March 2020. It was an unreal situation, never experienced, something so frightening and that was seen for the first time. However, I understood that it was necessary to try to face the global pandemic in which we found ourselves. Many people began to suffer from that forced closure, complaining that they were "in prison". I made this illustration to convey a message of positivity and hope, to say that as long as we are able to tap into our inner resources, we are always free. Free to decide how to deal with everything that happens to us, whether it be positive or negative. For me, freedom, the real one, is within each of us. It is useless to be physically free if you are then a prisoner of your fears, difficulties or uncertainties. For me, freedom comes first of all from within, and that's what gives us unshakable strength. Remember this in dark times: when everything around you seems to be going wrong, you can always find the light within you, because it is what sets you free. IAM4FREEDOM!
