My ART4FREEDOM is about the Chinese government's frivolous actions towards banning the Pooh bear or Winnie the Pooh, the character. I wanted to work on something that could show my support for the victims of censorship in China and the Hong Kong protest by bringing more attention to the current issues regarding the importance of freedom of speech and expression through a comedic artwork. This piece is strictly a take on Xi's censorship governance for China and how he and his government's frivolous actions to control his public image in ridiculous lengths will always end up backfiring and putting them more in the spotlight.
