My ART4FREEDOM is about how art, when used properly, can be a powerful propaganda machine. This artwork is aimed to memorize a holiday or celebration of the place you recognized as Home. Hong Kong, as a post-colonized metropolis, is a city of many identities. The 2019 pro-democracy protest started a new chapter after 22 years of search of our own identity, trying to find out who we are as a Hongkonger. In memory of this new chapter, these illustrative stamps draw inspiration from the protest. Bright yellow umbrellas against the violence of tear-gas canisters. IAM4FREEDOM!
