| ART4FREEDOM meaning: |
Freedom means not living in fear, persecution, or injustice. For me freedom means the ability to create the choices over my own life. It's also the ability to create without regardless of ongoing politics. The government when it doesn't work for the people needs to be criticized and critiqued, which is what I'm doing with this piece. I'm challenging the viewer not just to be passive but to be like the rising fist and act. This nation is in a difficult time words need to be said and we need to be vocal and visible. Hierarchical change needs to happen from the top down, systematic oppression can only happen through this change. I implore everyone to stay vigilant and stay involved and vote to hold your politicians accountable. IAM4FREEDOM!
