My ART4FREEDOM is a response to what has happened since the death of George Floyd and the BLM protests. Angered and saddened of senseless police killing, I had to contribute to the cause the only way I could. Though it isn't much, I believe an image is worth a thousand words and can get the freedom message across when shared here in the ART4FREEDOM gallery. The character used in the image is one of my more popular characters and since she has a number of fans and gets a lot of attention, I decided to depict her in the image over all to how my stance on the movement is. Letting people know that I may be a black illustrator but I am black first. Though it might not be as great as the others I've seen, each one speaks the same language, that were tired of injustice and racism and are for freedom and the right to oneself. IAM4FREEDOM!
