The Opposite Lovers

| ART4FREEDOM meaning: |
My ART4FREEDOM is my 1st pastel drawing. It represents my OCs Raphael and Pink having fun together, listening to music, talking about everything and chilling in Pink’s bedroom. Despite their differences (Raphael is a complete emo and Pink a cute soft boy), they’re in love. And they feel free to show their love with pride flags (Raphael’s pins, Pink’s bracelet and patch into his backpack).
Pink and Raphael came from my cyberpunk universe full of oppression, Cyberethik. It isn’t a homophobic oppression but a social status oppression. In fact, Pink originally came from the rich centre of the city (Neocity) and Raphael is from the suburbs. The government of Neocity hates the suburbs because it thinnks it’s full of criminals and they are useless. So, it “uses” the poorer people for horrible scientific experiments (transhumanism). Raphael and Pink’s love shows that poor and rich (and 2 boys too) can fall in love. That they can be themselves and be together and on matter how harsh and oppressive reality outside Pink’s room maybe, right here they can be safe and free. IAM4FREEDOM! |
