| ART4FREEDOM meaning: |
My ART4FREEDOM reminds me that I am not an error, as many people have told me.When I write this text, it feels like asking for peace in the world (which i wouldn't mind ^^). When I draw and share this artwork, it is always to feel better and to support all you 'different' people. Being bisexual, I thought it was good to share this artwork here and show people that we are real and fine. I am not the only one, who has already been insulted or harassed because I was looked upon as "different". Even my own family does not accept me as i am. But despite what other may find, I stay strong and still continue to think that being gay, lesbian, bisexual, and more ... is not bad, as we do not control what we feel!
My grandparents often said that I would go to hell if i loved a girl, when I am one myself, and that god had created us to be straight. Personally I do not believe this. If god exists, then I believe that he would not care less.The only people in my family who support me are my parents and they often said that being different was not a mistake but an honour. The only real reason why we can't "supposedly" exist is that people get too mixed up in other people's lives.I do not ask either that they understand us, understanding a person is so complicated after all. I know I ask a lot. I am a very shy person, I don't talk much to people. Events such as gay pride give me a little hope, the hope that finally someone will understand me and that one day, we can be free. IAM4FREEDOM! |
