My ART4FREEDOM is about Adrian who thought he would never dance again after losing his leg but with Masaru's support, he finally, gained his freedom and wings again. As for Masaru, after encountering such a flamboyant and confident soul, this raised his personality and allowed him to fully express himself, through the dance duet he came to form with his lover.
I tried to represent this relationship using golden and purple tones as a way to illuminate the two characters and the fact they are now no longer afraid to hide or repress their emotions any longer. The two characters overcame important difficulties (depression, loss of limb, homophobia...) and could finally be who they wanted to be. The image of the sun above clouds was chosen to represent their ascension above hardship and the joy their earned after achieving this goal. IAM4FREEDOM! |
