| ART4FREEDOM meaning: |
My ART4FREEDOM is my personal visualization of one strong nostalgic freedom feeling that I feel usually during rainy days. The character is Ray – a boy from manga 'The Promised Neverland'. The tattooed number on his neck reminds us of the fact that we will never really be free. But whenever I stand in the rain, I do feel free, as if the rain washes away all my worries. I feel as if, for a moment, all restrictions disappear and there are no oppressive rules created by humans. I also feel a strong connection with nature because, for me, real freedom means unity with nature. The picture also represents a quiet and continuous longing for this freedom. Many people are convinced that they are free and have the freedom of choice. The truth is that, if we wanted to really live our own lives and enjoy true freedom, our plans would be quickly destroyed by authoritarian rules that govern the human world. Our freedom is really an illusion that consciously or unconsciously accompanies every human being. IAM4FREEDOM!
