We Want Freedom of Speech

My ART4FREEDOM is a reminder that even if the most deadliest crisis towers over us, the lack of freedom will kill us, and that those who tried preventing it in the first place, are misheard, ignored or worse. I've witnessed how the COVID-19 outbreak grew amidst the ignorance propaganda being passed around on the state media and came to a point, where you really don't know what to believe in anymore - it didn't have to escalate to this degree. I still think that the spread and much of the unnecessary panic could have been prevented, if only the Chinese government didn't suppress information and had been more open and proactive when all this started. Many people in China, who tried to warn people about the virus were put down and went missing and have been silenced, such as Dr. Wenliang and journalist Chen Qiushi. Now that the virus has spread globally, and after many have suffered and died, people are only now starting to take action against it People need to be aware and prepared in advance - not procrastinate and suffer at last minute. My heart goes out to the people in China - they need freedom of speech, not be taken down/arrested or censored. All the people risking their lives to help their own people should be recognized as heroes. This can no longer be seen as internal affairs as it affects the whole world and it is about time that freedom, rather than oppression, starts spreading, both in and outside of China. IAM4FREEDOM!
