| ART4FREEDOM meaning: |
My ART4FREEDOM is symbolism for-, and depicts, the moment of self-realization of our limits. We are often imprisoned by our own thoughts, and thus we rob ourselves of our freedom. Because no one but ourselves, can truly steal our inner freedom, the moment of self-realization of the fact we are robbing our own potential and freedom, can be extremely painful and followed by despair. But few natural forces can be as strong as a volcano as our longing for freedom, and just like a powerful eruption of a long sleeping volcano, we too can rise above despair and the mental chains of our thoughts, to become the unstoppable force to be reckoned with. In the artwork, the character is experiencing a great feeling of grief and pain (whoever has gone through deep depression or oppression, knows this too well), but his skin and chains are cracking and breaking from the heat of his/her burning soul desire. We can all channel that negative energy to fuel our freedom and free our unchained soul. IAM4FREEDOM!
