My ART4FREEDOM is about how sometimes it can happen that we feel entrapped in unpleasant situations, which simply go ahead for too long; we feel ourselves imprisoned and completely immersed in that inner darkness and loneliness, but these are often reflections of what surrounds us.
I wanted to depict the unravelling of the knot we often carry inside ourselves; representing this feeling of uneasiness of not being able to be yourself, and of the relief we feel when we manage to free ourselves - even for a moment - from that oppressing weight. I tried to create a kind of dark and silent forest deep inside the boy, who finally manages to breathe and brighten up his spirit, finding the light again. Know that there will be always that moment in the life when you find 'Relief' and fully feel free. IAM4FREEDOM! |
