What does a hero look like today?

Some DANCE4FREEDOM, some speak up online. Others print and post flyers, share stories, or help create a PLACE4FREEDOM at their event or location. Some join meetups. Some simply live respectfully and authentically—and inspire others by doing so.

Heroes are both free and not free—men, women, and everyone in between, just like you and me. They come in all shapes, all voices, all lives. Unique but united, their strength lies in their collective courage. You don’t need to be Gandhi, Mandela, Mother Teresa, or the Dalai Lama to make a difference.
