SECURITY

At ALL4FREEDOM, we take the protection of your data as seriously as the freedom subject. You can count on us to appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes. We offer a safe and secure space for you to interact and engage around shared interests such as freedom and the right to be yourself.

Unfortunately, there are platforms for profit out there and sometimes they do not take the privacy and security of their users as serious as they should. Our ALL4FREEDOM community is so-called, Privacy by Design. Together with our users, we pay extra attention to the privacy and security of our web-applications and hosting servers. Thus, we can count on proper availability levels and the access of ALL4FREEDOM data is reserved to authorised staff only. Daily data backups are run in accordance with relevant standards and guidelines.

Data encryption:
SSL stands for secure sockets layer. In practical terms, our SSL certificate provides you a secure connection over the internet between your browser and our website when visiting.  By encrypting the data being transferred to and from the site with 256-bit encryption, we prevent interception of the data being transmitted and protects it from being read by anyone malicious who tries to get access. Even if there’s a data breach and some of the data is intercepted, it will make it almost impossible to be understood due to the level of encryption it involves. You can feel safe in the knowledge that your data is in good hands. In addition, it is an obvious way of showing that we’re the real deal, which can help you avoid phishing attacks. Notice the padlock icon next to our https://all4freedom.com URL? It's there to give us legitimacy and you security.

Software:
Quality and security comes by design. Best-practice coding and peer reviews help us produce continously updated, top-notch, robust and secure code for our websites. We use the most secure scripting on our open source software. Two Factor Authentication (TFA) access control (ACL) to our software is listed and limited to our administrators only, who obey best practices and strict demands where privacy and security are concerned and always come first.

In addition, as we use open source technology, we own our platform/data and there are no third-parties siphoning your user-data. This translates into more trust from our members who are able to take ownership of the community without having to worry about invasive practices created by profit-driven tech companies.

Hosting
All our servers are stored within a safe and secure environment at a certificated and sponsored Internet Service Provider (ISP) in The Netherlands. Our infrastructure is certified at  ISO-27001, ISO-9001, ISO-14001, NEN 7510 en PCI-DDS.  Certificates (Statement's of Applicability) are available upon request.

ISO 9001 is the standard for quality management and used on all processing.
NEN 7510 is the Dutch norm for information security in health care sector.
ISO 27001 certification proves that processing and daily tasks within the data-centre match with strict regulations are drawn-up in accordance with the norm.
PCI DSS stands for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

Securely saved passwords
Our IAM4FREEDOM community has your user's passwords protected with encryption so that even we at ALL4FREEDOM can’t see them.  Therefore we will contact you nor ask you give us your passwords nor can we send you your password. If you do receive such requests, act with great caution as someone is probably trying to retrieve your account data through phishing and with bad intentions.
Contact is always by means of our own domain-owned email addresses such (alias)@all4freedom.com

Phishing
Phishing is when someone poses as a legitimate organization and attempts to get sensitive information such as, in this instance, a password.

If you receive an email that appears to be from IAM4FREEDOM, ALL4FREEDOM or FREEDOM4ALL asking you for your account info, or threatening you with account deletion, etc. you can be guaranteed that it isn't from us, so do not respond, and contact our support team to let us know.

Never give out your password to emailed requests , any email from ALL4FREEDOM must **end** in all4freedom.com. If you are in doubt, click the show details arrow and make sure the 'mailed-by' lines match our domain/email address. If you see messages claiming to be from ALL4FREEDOM but are not properly authenticated as coming from  ALL4FREEDOM (for example: free.ALL4FREEDOM.com or ALLFORFREEDOM.com)  then they are phishing messages and to be reported/deleted.

The only place you should ever enter your Password or login information is on the login page or screen of our ALL4FREEDOM site that you have navigated to yourself.

We have security measures installed that keep your information private, secure and accessible only by our site administrators and will continuously monitor for suspicious activity that might affect ALL4FREEDOM and our users, and take aggressive steps to stop any incident that we are aware of.

Note:  ALL4FREEDOM will never ask for your credentials or account information (other than in our normal sign in screens) in an email.
