My ART4FREEDOM is about Kassandra is half-magical creature, half witch who is getting used to the ways of humans by living with a huge family. Her choice to do that was her own - despite the ways of Kitsune she was raised with, her curiosity led her to try and be with them. And because she was an adult to their standards she was free to do that.
Teos on the other hand is a dark being, she is half a dragon, raised by a family of magic-users, who were forced to dispose of her because of her tendency to cause misfortune and her interest in dark magic. Having no set home, she was free to cross the border between worlds and get to the town Kassandra lives.
Because Teos is more canine, violent, masculine and withdrawn, she was the one, who was harder to open up and realize what is happening. But they both are free to express their different sexuality because the entire town has the open mindset of "everyone is free to love whoever they want" - And that's exactly the message behind my piece. They are - in very short - like the sun and the moon but because they've found love, in the face of the other, they got married and are tackling being human and the right to be themselves together. My message is this: Love is a power we all share and the freedom to love matters more than tradition and skin, gender or race or skin colour. IAM4FREEDOM!
